Our group has had a steady flow of inspirational ideas in our small, but intimate, gatherings. We meet every second Tuesday in the month and have developed a trust exhibited in our writings. So far we have covered biographies, short fiction and narratives. One of our group actually said at the first meeting, ‘I really don’t think I’m good enough for this’ - she has since blossomed into a prolific writer and has entered various competitions. We all choose topics for ‘homework’ and I think it’s true to say that we have developed an insight into our lives which had hitherto remained undetected. Therein lies another source of homework!
To give each of our members sufficient time to present thier work for discussion, our group is limited to a maximum of eight and regret that we are full at the present time.
We meet on the 2nd Tuesday each month.
